Robert L. Kaleel

A native of St. Petersburg, Mr. Kaleel has extensive personal injury and property damage litigation experience in West Central Florida. He has been Florida Bar Board Certified in Civil Trial Law since 2000 and Preeminent AV rated by Martindale Hubbell since 2004. He has been a Florida Supreme Court Certified Civil Circuit and County Court Mediator since 2003 and a Federal Court Certified Mediator in the Middle District of Florida since 2021. Prior to his decision to focus exclusively on alternative dispute resolution, Mr. Kaleel was in active litigation practice from 1990 to 2020. His trial practice spanned all facets of personal injury, property damage and insurance cases from pre-suit to appeal including declaratory decree actions, coverage questions and global settlements.  

Mr. Kaleel attended Shorecrest Preparatory School, graduating in 1983 with high honors as Salutatorian. After his junior year, he attended summer courses at Harvard University. He graduated from Duke University in 1987 with academic honors. In 1990, he received his JD degree from the University of Florida College of Law where he earned the highest grade or book award for Torts 1 as a first year law student.
